I’ve watched your show for 2 years, almost every episode, and I think you’re missing a big opportunity. The idea that certain content “won’t perform” feels flawed. Trying something once isn’t real data, it’s just audience resistance to change. If you ran new segments multiple times back to back, you’d get a true read on performance and might even grow the audience. Right now, anything different feels like a one off, which boxes your content in. I’d LOVE to see roster breakdowns, very few people are doing that well. Even a weekly G5 segment at the end would expand your content without changing the core show. There’s real upside here. You’re leaving opportunities on the table.

As an LSU diehard fan and an FSU peripheral secondary fan for over the past 30 years I completely get the stance towards FSU with their roster!;! Obviously has an LSU regional native we spent a lot and if not this season then absolutely by 2027 we expect something significant

The reason I got into College Football was because people from my area were getting recruited to go play for the local college team if you add a draft that kills what makes college football great.

I want nothing to do with a CFB draft. I already quit the NFL. I don’t want to be forced to quit my favorite team and favorite sport college football. But I think this is completely unrealistic.

This is probably the dumbest idea that I have ever heard proposed. Ryan Day is a good guy and I like him, but dude needs to be drug tested. 😂 Seriously, there's no way possible that a CFP draft could ever work. What if the kid that gets drafted to say Northwestern never intended to go to Northwestern to begin with? It's nutty.

Institute a draft for the transfer portal. Leave high school recruiting as is. With the potential upcoming 1 transfer rule in place, players will think long and hard before leaving the school they CHOSE to go to out of high school. Caveat though, players on teams where their coach gets fired do not go into the draft pool and get to choose where they want to go. This will also protect coaches as well. An AD will have to think long and hard before firing a coach because if they do, all those players are free to follow the coach that recruited them.

I don’t know. Florida has got more than some of these schools in my opinion. What else do you want to have than what it has? It’s a top 5 public school academically and has the facilities and resources and a huge recruiting base. We shall see how Sumrall does but I think it’s got top 7 credentials.
